The great event of Putri Kampus Jawa Timur was held in May 28, 2016 at Balai Pemuda Surabaya added another achievement for IKIP PGRI MADIUN. Through this event, a student of IKIP PGRI MADIUN could obtain an award as the winner. The student, who is completing her study at English Language Teaching Department 6^th semester, is called Adela Arifan Rachma.

Adel, the student’s short name, talked about the reasons for joining this event. It was because of the motivation 'to inspire the younger generation'. The way she chose to show was how to spend the days with positive activities. According to Adel, the future of this nation was upon its youths.

Winning the first prize was not easy for Adel. It took a long journey and struggle. Adel had to beat the other participants that consisted of students of private and state renowned university in East Java. The participants were not only from undergraduate level, but there were also participants who were in graduate program. However Adel remained confident and believedd that she could be the best.
