One more time, for the second year, IKIP PGRI MADIUN received the award as college with honors in Kopertis VII East Java. The award was received twice subsequently in 2015 and 2016 with an increase in ratings. For 9 years started in 2008, IKIP MADIUN PGRI had also been awarded as Kampus Unggul.

The award as the college with honors 2016 is an award given on a transparent assessment by Kopertis regarding the quality of management/governance, human resources, research, community service and writing scientific papers, and student affairs. The rankings are categorized into three clusters, namely pratama, madya, and utama. IKIP PGRI MADIUN was capable of processing four essential elements well among private universities in East Java, so that IKIP PGRI MADIUN become one of the institutions included in the utama category.

The awarding for IKIP PGRI MADIUN as a College with honors was received by the Rector of IKIP PGRI MADIUN, Dr. H. Parji, M. Pd. at J.W. Marriot Surabaya in May 26, 2016. Dr. H. Parji, M. Pd. said that IKIP PGRI MADIUN will always try to preseve the predicate for the years ahead. He also expressed gratitude to the academic community of IKIP PGRI MADIUN, "I would like to thank the faculty, staff and students who have worked hard consistently and continuously.
