Education is substantial in life. Through education, human beings can change civilization. Therefore, being aware of the importance of an education, IKIP PGRI MADIUN cooperated with Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) tried to improve the level of public education by providing scholarships to students who had good achievements. The ceremony to give the scholarship was officially held on Tuesday (09/08/2015), at the meeting room 1 campuss 1 IKIP PGRI MADIUN. The occasion was attended by Dr. H. Parji, M.Pd., Rector of IKIP PGRI MADIUN and his deputies, and Mr. Narto Laksono, representative of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI).

In 2015, IKIP PGRI MADIUN got a grant of 126 million which will be distributed to 35 students who passed the selection. The scholarship selection process referred to the academic and non-academic achievement of the students, as expressed by the Rector of IKIP PGRI MADIUN, Dr. Parji, M.Pd. that the scholarships were precisely given to those who needed because it referred to their academic and non-academic achievements such as being active in student organizations.

"We are from BRI hopes that this scholarship can give ‘hope’ to the scholarship recipients to develop their potential in the future for their betterment." said Mr. Narto Laksono as the representative of BRI Madiun. (Div. Humas-BKHK)
