Dozens of Teams Showcase Creativity at INFOVEST 2026 UNIPMA, Here Are the Winners

UNIPMA — A total of 21 student teams showcased their creativity in the UI/UX Design competition at the 2026 Information System Festival (INFOVEST), organized by the Information Systems Student Association (MASIF) of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA). The festival also featured a Cinematography competition for senior high school and vocational high school students.

INFOVEST 2026 was held throughout September, with the winners announced on October 1. The series of activities began with a technical meeting on September 10, followed by the creation and submission of entries until September 22, and judging from September 23–27.

Putra Ramadhan, Chair of the INFOVEST 2026 organizing committee, said the festival was one of MASIF’s work programs, bringing participants together through competitions in digital design and videography.

“INFOVEST is a competition organized by MASIF with two categories, namely UI/UX Design and Cinematography,” Putra said on Thursday (October 1).

In the UI/UX Design category, participants were challenged to create application interface designs based on sector-specific themes determined by the committee. Meanwhile, the Cinematography category was open to senior high school and vocational high school students, with short films submitted as competition entries. A total of four works advanced to the judging stage.

The UI/UX Design judging process was conducted in two stages. During the screening stage, the entries were divided into two groups, with each group assessed by one judge.

Each judge then selected the five best entries from their respective group. The resulting 10 entries advanced to the next stage and were reassessed by both judges.

Putra explained that the system was used to determine the 10 best works before the final assessment by both judges.

“After the screening stage, each judge selected five of the best works. Those 10 works were then reassessed by both judges,” he added.

The results placed Litera, created by Ayu Amirah Kusumaningtyas Atarian, in first place in the UI/UX Design category with a score of 100. Kalkuloka, created by Evelyn Loveina, took second place with a score of 98, while Kelilink, created by Danish Hikham Rubyadi, finished third with a score of 90.

The competition for third place was particularly close, with Warisan receiving a score of 89, just one point behind Kelilink.

In the Cinematography category, M. Alaik Syabana won first place with a score of 71. Rihan Dista Pratama took second place with 70 points, while Putri Maharroh finished third with a score of 37.

Beyond the competition itself, INFOVEST was designed as a space for participants to develop their skills in design and visual media. For MASIF, the event also forms part of its efforts to develop the organization as a platform for Information Systems students.

“INFOVEST is expected to become a platform for participants to develop their skills in design and visual media,” Putra said.

The 2026 INFOVEST received support from Information Systems Study Program Head Ridho Pamungkas, S.Kom., M.Kom., faculty advisor Dimas Setiawan, S.Kom., M.Kom., and the Information Systems Study Program team at UNIPMA.

The event officially opened online via Zoom. The winners received prizes, while participants were awarded certificates for their participation in the competition.

MASIF hopes INFOVEST can be held again in the coming years with more participants and additional competition categories.
