UNIPMA Initiates Student Internship Collaboration in Taiwan

UNIPMA — Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) is exploring opportunities for collaboration with YS Indonesia regarding student internship programs in Taiwan. The initiative was discussed during YS Indonesia’s visit to UNIPMA, held in the Rectorate meeting room on Wednesday (2/8).

Through the Bureau of Cooperation and Public Relations (BKH), UNIPMA discussed potential collaboration with industries in Taiwan, particularly in the fields of human resources and training centers. The program is intended to provide students with opportunities to gain professional experience abroad.

UNIPMA Rector Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., stated that the proposed collaboration could provide students with insights into opportunities to participate in internship programs.

“This collaboration or socialization activity can provide students with insights into opportunities to participate in internship programs,” he said.

He expressed his hope that the initiative would provide benefits for UNIPMA in the future, particularly for its students.

YS Indonesia representative Sri Walyono explained that the organization focuses on providing Indonesian students with opportunities to participate in educational internships and gain work experience in Taiwan.

The opportunity is part of discussions on collaboration aimed at developing students’ professional experience abroad. For UNIPMA, international programs such as internships are also part of its efforts to enhance student capacity and expand campus programs at the international level.

In terms of preparation, UNIPMA offers free Mandarin language training initiated by the Center for Language Development (P2B). This facility can be utilized by students interested in pursuing program opportunities in Taiwan.

The exploration with YS Indonesia is part of UNIPMA’s efforts to expand international collaboration, both for students and lecturers. The initiative is also aimed at supporting SDG 17, or Partnerships for the Goals.
