UNIPMA — The 2025/2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Law (FH), Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), marked the culmination of diverse achievements gained by students throughout their university years. Academic accomplishments, organizational involvement, national competitions, and international academic experiences became part of the graduates’ journeys.

The graduation ceremony was held at the UNIPMA Integrated Laboratory on Saturday (22/8) and was attended by UNIPMA Rector Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. During the ceremony, students officially received the Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) degree.

Dean of FH UNIPMA, Dr. Siska Diana Sari, S.H., M.H., said each student had a different background and experience throughout their studies. “Every graduate has their own experiences and journey throughout their education,” she said.

During their studies, students were involved in activities beyond classroom learning. Some participated in student organizations and competitions, worked while studying, completed internships at government agencies as well as public and private law offices, and took part in student exchange programs both domestically and internationally.

One of the international academic experiences came through the International Credit Transfer (ICT) program at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), Philippines. The program became part of the academic experience gained by FH students during their studies.

At the national level, FH UNIPMA students also achieved accomplishments through the PORSENASMA competition. In addition, some students were entrusted with roles as Legal Ambassadors.

Academic achievement was also highlighted during the ceremony. Aldhi Royan Nugraha was named the best graduate of FH UNIPMA with a GPA of 3.99 and graduated with honors (Cum Laude).

These diverse experiences reflect the opportunities available for students to develop themselves during their time at university. Academic activities, organizations, competitions, and international exposure contribute to preparing graduates before entering the professional world.

Dr. Siska Diana Sari, S.H., M.H., reminded the graduates that their achievements during university must be accompanied by responsibility after earning their law degrees.

“A Bachelor of Laws degree is not the end of the learning process, but the beginning of greater responsibility,” she added.

She also encouraged graduates to uphold integrity and use the legal knowledge they gained during their studies to contribute to society.

As part of the graduation process, the faculty presented Certificates of Graduation (SKL) to the graduates as official proof of completion before they proceed to the graduation ceremony, enter the workforce, or pursue further education.

The connection between the faculty and its graduates will also continue through the Alumni Family Association (IKA), which provides a communication platform to maintain relationships between alumni and their alma mater.

The graduation ceremony thus marks a new beginning for graduates to bring the knowledge, experiences, and networks gained during their studies into the professional world and society.
