Open to the Public! The Community Can Now Use UNIPMA Gym Facilities 

UNIPMA — Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has reopened its campus gym facility, which can now be used by students, lecturers, educational staff, and the general public. The sports facility, managed by the Faculty of Health Sciences and Science (FIKS) of UNIPMA, began operating on July 16, 2026, after several equipment upgrades were completed.

The reopening of the gym aims to provide sports facilities that support fitness improvement while also supporting academic activities in the fields of health, sports, and fitness. The facility had previously been available on campus but was reactivated with upgraded facilities in response to high user interest.

The Dean of FIKS UNIPMA, Apt. Weka Sidha Bhagawan, M.Farm., stated that the gym does not only function as a physical training facility but also serves as a learning facility for students.

“This gym is under the management of FIKS UNIPMA and can support learning activities, especially in the fields of health, sports, and fitness,” said Weka.

According to him, the facility can be utilized by all members of the UNIPMA academic community, including students, lecturers, and educational staff. In addition, people from outside the campus environment are also given the opportunity to use the services.

The UNIPMA Gym is located in the basement of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Science Building. The area is equipped with air conditioning, bathrooms, parking facilities, and the latest weightlifting equipment to support users’ activities.

In addition to training facilities, UNIPMA Sport Center also provides membership programs with several fee categories. UNIPMA students and IKOR students are charged Rp50,000 per month, while UNIPMA lecturers, employees, and students from outside UNIPMA are charged Rp75,000 per month.

For the general public, the membership fee is set at Rp100,000 per month. Meanwhile, a couple package is available at Rp150,000 per month. Each monthly member receives a bonus of one body composition check with a normal value of Rp20,000.

During the opening period, UNIPMA Sport Center also provides 200 special vouchers priced at Rp50,000. Users who require training assistance can choose personal trainer services with packages of eight sessions for Rp500,000, 10 sessions for Rp600,000, and 12 sessions for Rp700,000.

For users who do not register as members, the gym facility can still be accessed through a daily visit system. UNIPMA students are charged Rp10,000 with an additional free drink facility, while FIKS students receive a special rate of Rp5,000.

The UNIPMA Gym operates every day through three training sessions. The first session runs from 08.15–12.00 WIB and is available when there are no ongoing lectures. The second session runs from 13.00–15.00 WIB, while the third session starts from 15.30–21.00 WIB. The facility is closed during major religious holidays.

In addition to gym services, UNIPMA Sport Center provides massage services to support body recovery. The 60-minute Sport Massage Kebugaran service is available at a rate of Rp100,000.

Injury massage services are also available based on specific body areas. Services for the neck, shoulders, elbows, hand ankles, and foot ankles cost Rp75,000. Services for frozen shoulder and knee areas cost Rp100,000, while hip area treatment costs Rp150,000.

UNIPMA Sport Center also provides post-injury strengthening services at Rp75,000, as well as a post-injury strengthening package combined with TENS Physiotherapy at Rp100,000.
