UNIPMA Strengthens the Role of Field Supervisors to Ensure the Quality of the 2026 Student Industrial Internship Program

UNIPMA – Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has strengthened the role of Field Supervisors (DPL) in the implementation of the 2026 Student Industrial Internship Program through an orientation organized by the Internship and Field Practice Bureau (BMPL) in collaboration with the Field Experience Practice and Internship Unit (UPPLM) at Graha Cendekia on Tuesday (July 14). The program aimed to establish a shared understanding, enhance technical knowledge, and ensure that student supervision at partner institutions is carried out according to established standards.

The Head of UNIPMA's Internship and Field Practice Bureau (BMPL), Dr. Dahlia Novarianing Asri, M.Si., emphasized that Field Supervisors play a strategic role in maintaining the quality of student internships.

"A shared understanding among field supervisors is essential to ensure that student supervision, monitoring, and evaluation are conducted in accordance with the established standards," she said.

She added that the orientation also served to strengthen coordination between the university and partner institutions, ensuring that every stage of the internship program could be implemented effectively.

During the program, the Field Supervisors received materials on internship standard operating procedures, administration, guidelines, and regulations delivered by Nik Amah, S.E., M.Si., CTT., CSRS. These materials serve as references for supervisors in mentoring, monitoring, and evaluating students throughout their internships at partner institutions.

Next, Moch Yusuf Asyhari, S.Tr.Kom., M.Kom., introduced the Internship Management Information System (SIM Magang) as a platform for monitoring internship activities. Through the system, Field Supervisors can monitor student activities, validate daily logbooks, and conduct digital assessments, making both supervision and administrative processes more efficient.

The orientation also addressed cooperation with partner institutions. Dr. Brigitta Septarini Rahmasari, S.S., M.Pd., explained the mechanisms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to ensure that Field Supervisors understand the rights, responsibilities, and scope of collaboration between UNIPMA and its industry partners.

The program concluded with a discussion session, during which the Field Supervisors addressed various technical issues, including student mentoring procedures, the use of the SIM Magang application, monitoring mechanisms, and procedures for concluding students' internships at partner institutions.

Through this orientation, UNIPMA expects all Field Supervisors to have a consistent understanding of their roles and responsibilities. This shared perspective is expected to support a more structured, accountable, and high-quality industrial internship program while providing students with optimal learning experiences.
