Guest of UNIPMA in SEA-Teacher batch 6 by SEAMEO 

This year Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) participated in the SEA-Teacher program batch 6 and SEA-TVET batch 2. On this occasion, UNIPMA collaborated with the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) to accommodate 4 students participating in the SEA-Teacher batch 6 program those from the Philippines and Thailand. The four foreign students are Kim Ann A. Codera and Felicia Nadine V. Velasco from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines, and Natthanica Anuchorn and Boonpitak Suksiri from Thepsatri Rajabhat University, Lopburi, Thailand. The four foreign students arrive in Indonesia On Tuesday, 7 August 2018 and will be in Madiun, East Java to conduct teaching internships for approximately 30 days.

Several volunteers of UNIPMA were assigned to pick up the four foreign students at Juanda International Airport, Surabaya. At 13.30 p.m., the foreign students from the Philippines landed at Juanda Airport. While foreign students from Thailand landed at Juanda Airport at 9:30 p.m. At 00:30 a.m., all four foreign students and volunteers arrived at the Dormitory of UNIPMA which is used as a residence for the foreign students while in Madiun.

The four foreign students were scheduled to meet the Rector of UNIPMA on Wednesday, August 8th 2018 at 15.30 p.m. in the Rector's Room, Campus 1, UNIPMA. The four foreign students and buddies headed to Campus 1, UNIPMA by riding the bicycles provided by the campus as a means of transportation for the foreign students while in Madiun. In addition to meeting with the Rector, the four foreign students also visited several bureaus in UNIPMA.
