Providing Insight to Achieve Dreams: UNIPMA Admissions Team Socializes Study Opportunities and Scholarships to Vocational High School Students in Trenggalek
UNIPMA – The New Student Admissions (PMB) Team of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held an outreach session at Wijaya Husada Health Vocational High School in Trenggalek as part of its promotional activities for the 2026/2027 Academic Year admissions. The event, which took place on Tuesday (January 20), aimed to provide students with information about higher education options, study programs, and various scholarship opportunities.
The UNIPMA PMB team consisted of Dioni Fadia Zatalini, M.Farm., Lina Nuryani, S.Pd., Arka Mahendra, and Rinda Tri Kusuma. This outreach was part of the university’s annual Goes to School program, designed to introduce UNIPMA while providing students with insights into opportunities for pursuing higher education after graduating from school.
Rinda Tri Kusuma stated that the students showed great enthusiasm throughout the session. From the beginning of the presentation, they listened attentively and actively asked questions regarding admission pathways, scholarship programs, and the facilities available at UNIPMA.
“The students did not hesitate to engage in discussions or ask questions directly about the study programs and the opportunities they could gain by continuing their education at UNIPMA,” she said.
In addition to introducing the university, the activity also aimed to help students identify their potential and choose study programs that align with their interests and future career plans.
Dioni Fadia Zatalini, M.Farm., a lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Science (FIKS) of UNIPMA, said that the outreach was expected to give students a clearer understanding of the study programs available, particularly those in the health sciences.
“This promotional activity helps students make informed decisions about their choice of study program, especially in the field of health sciences at UNIPMA. It is also part of our effort to introduce UNIPMA to communities beyond the Madiun Residency area so that the university becomes more widely recognized, particularly across East Java,” she said on Tuesday (July 7).
During the event, the PMB team also introduced the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Program. This program provides an opportunity for graduates of senior high schools and vocational high schools, or their equivalents, to complete their studies in a shorter period—approximately two years—in accordance with applicable regulations.
The team also presented various scholarship opportunities available to prospective students, including the Qur'an Memorization (Hafidz Al-Qur'an) Scholarship, Outstanding Student Scholarship, Indonesia Smart College Card (KIP-K) Scholarship, PGRI Members' Children Scholarship, Leadership Scholarship, and Outstanding Student Scholarship.
Through this outreach program, UNIPMA hopes to provide prospective students with broader access to information about higher education, available study programs, and scholarship opportunities that can support them in pursuing their academic goals.
Registration for the Regular Program and the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Program for the 2026/2027 Academic Year is now officially open.
