FKIP UNIPMA Strengthens Academic Collaboration through the Signing of MoUs, MoAs, and Implementation Agreements with Strategic Partners
UNIPMA – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) strengthened its academic partnerships with several higher education institutions and professional organizations through the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), Memorandums of Agreement (MoAs), and Implementation Agreements (IAs) at the Faculty of Engineering Building on Wednesday (July 1).
The signing ceremony was part of the Visiting Lecture series, which featured an academic from IIAS Leiden University, the Netherlands, and a representative from the Indonesian Journal Volunteers (Relawan Jurnal Indonesia/RJI) Central Board. The initiative aimed to expand institutional partnerships while reinforcing the implementation of the three pillars of higher education—education, research, and community service.
At the institutional level, UNIPMA signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Indonesian Journal Volunteers (RJI) and Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sidoarjo (UNUSIDA). In addition, Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara (UNIVET) Sukoharjo and the Adhi Tama Institute of Technology Surabaya (ITATS) also signed cooperation agreements with RJI. The MoUs were signed by the leaders of the respective institutions together with representatives of RJI.
At the faculty level, FKIP UNIPMA signed Memorandums of Agreement (MoAs) with the Indonesian Journal Volunteers (RJI) and the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sidoarjo (UNUSIDA). The agreements were signed by the Dean of FKIP UNIPMA and partner representatives as a commitment to developing more focused and practical academic collaboration.
The partnership was further strengthened through the signing of Implementation Agreements (IAs) between FKIP UNIPMA and FKIP UNUSIDA, FKIP UNIVET Sukoharjo, and ITATS. These agreements serve as the operational framework for collaborative programs to be implemented by the respective study programs.
The IA signing was conducted in four sessions involving all study programs within FKIP UNIPMA. The first session included the Guidance and Counseling, Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD), Early Childhood Education (PAUD), Electrical Engineering Education, and Physics Education study programs.
The second session involved the Mathematics Education, Biology Education, Accounting Education, Economics Education, and History Education study programs.
Meanwhile, the third session included the Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn), English Education, Indonesian Language Education, Teacher Professional Education (PPG), and Bachelor of Natural Sciences Education study programs. Each Implementation Agreement was signed by the respective heads of study programs and their partner institutions.
Through the signing of these MoUs, MoAs, and Implementation Agreements, FKIP UNIPMA has expanded its network of partnerships with universities and professional organizations. The collaboration is expected to support the implementation of various joint initiatives, including faculty exchange programs, collaborative research, scientific publications, community service activities, curriculum development, and the enhancement of academic competencies among faculty members and students.
