UNIPMA Commemorates the 118th National Awakening Day, Strengthening the Spirit of Unity and Education Quality

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) commemorated the 118th National Awakening Day (Harkitnas) through a ceremony held in the courtyard of the UNIPMA Integrated Laboratory on Wednesday (20/5). The ceremony was led directly by the Rector of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., and attended by the entire academic community.

This year’s National Awakening Day commemoration served as a moment for UNIPMA to strengthen the spirit of unity, improve the quality of education, and encourage active contributions from higher education institutions to national development.

During the ceremony, all participants followed the series of events solemnly as a form of respect for the struggle and spirit of national unity. This moment was also interpreted as an invitation for the academic community to continue upholding national values amid ongoing developments of the era.

This commitment is reflected in UNIPMA’s continuously improving academic achievements. Of the 30 study programs managed by the university, 12 have received “Excellent” accreditation. This achievement serves as an indicator of UNIPMA’s seriousness in strengthening the quality of education and credible university governance.

In addition to focusing on academic strengthening, UNIPMA also continues to implement the Three Pillars of Higher Education (tridharma perguruan tinggi) through the development of international collaborations and various education programs that have a real impact on society. These programs are aligned with the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the “Impactful Campus Program” from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek).

Through these various programs, UNIPMA strives to deliver a learning process that not only focuses on student development but also provides direct benefits to the wider community.
