FIKS UNIPMA Receives Visit from FKIK UIN Malang, Discusses Opportunities for Collaboration in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education
The Faculty of Health Sciences and Science (FIKS) of Universitas PGRI Madiun received a visit from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang at the 5th Floor of the Integrated Laboratory of UNIPMA on Tuesday (19/5). The visit discussed opportunities for interinstitutional cooperation in the fields of education, research, and community service.
The FIKS UNIPMA delegation was led by the Dean of FIKS, Apt. Weka Sidha Bhagawan, M.Farm., accompanied by the Vice Dean of FIKS, Titin Kuntum Mandalawati, S.Pd., M.Or., Head of the Pharmacy Study Program Dr. Apt. Vevi Maritha, M.Farm., Dr. Pratama Dharmika Nugraha, S.Si., M.Or., along with other members of the deanery. Meanwhile, the FKIK UIN Malang delegation was led by the Head of the Master’s Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. apt. Burhan Ma’arif Z.A, S.Farm., Apt., M.Farm., and the Head of the Master’s Program in Biomedical Sciences, Dr. drg. Anik Listiyana, M.Biomed., together with their team.
The Dean of FIKS UNIPMA, apt. Weka Sidha Bhagawan, M.Farm., stated that the visit marked an initial step toward strengthening collaboration between the two universities, particularly in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
“UNIPMA and UIN Malang collaborate with each other. It is possible that after this, there will be further cooperation, especially in the field of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education,” said apt. Weka Sidha Bhagawan, M.Farm.
He added that future collaboration plans would not only include academic strengthening, but also collaborative research, scientific publications, and community service activities.
The collaboration is also intended to support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Impactful Campus Program initiated by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek). Through this synergy, learning activities and academic development are expected to provide tangible benefits for both students and the wider community.
