Reviving the Spirit of Education, UNIPMA Holds the 2026 National Education Day Ceremony

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a solemn flag ceremony to commemorate National Education Day (Hardiknas) 2026. The event, which took place at the Integrated Laboratory courtyard on Saturday (2/5), served as an important moment for the academic community to reaffirm their commitment to the field of education.

The ceremony was led directly by the Vice Rector I of UNIPMA, Prof. Dr. Marheny Lukitasari, M.Pd., who acted as the Ceremony Inspector. The event was also attended by university leaders, lecturers, educational staff, and hundreds of students who participated with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of nationalism.

Through this Hardiknas commemoration, UNIPMA reaffirmed its commitment as an educational institution that not only focuses on the transfer of knowledge but also on character building and instilling noble values in every student.

This commitment is reflected in continuously improving academic achievements. Out of the 30 study programs managed, ten have successfully achieved “Excellent” accreditation. This achievement serves as a clear indicator of UNIPMA’s seriousness in improving the quality of education and strengthening credible university governance.

Not stopping at these achievements, UNIPMA is also preparing further academic development. The university will soon open new programs, namely doctoral (PhD) and professional programs. Currently, various preparations are being finalized, ranging from document completion to supporting facilities and infrastructure.

This strategic step is part of UNIPMA’s ongoing efforts to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, have strong character, and uphold noble values. In addition, this development aligns with contributions to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in providing inclusive and high-quality higher education.

With the orderly and meaningful execution of the ceremony, the commemoration of Hardiknas 2026 serves as a symbol of the revival of the spirit of education within UNIPMA to continue innovating and contributing to national progress.
