UNIPMA Conducts Monitoring and Evaluation of 247 KIPK Scholarship Recipients

Through the KIPK Monitoring and Evaluation Team, Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activity for 247 KIPK scholarship recipients on Wednesday (22/4). The event took place at the Integrated Laboratory and was attended by students from various study programs across faculties within the university.

Participants came from diverse academic backgrounds, including the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Faculty of Engineering (FT), Faculty of Law (FH), and the Faculty of Health Sciences and Science (FIKS). This distribution indicates that the KIPK program at UNIPMA reaches students broadly and equitably.

The implementation of this monev is part of a continuous development strategy that focuses not only on academic achievement but also on strengthening financial literacy, character building, and increasing student awareness of various social risks in the digital era.

The activity was attended by the Vice Rector III, Dr. Jeffry Handhika, M.Pd., M.Si., along with BKM officials, the monev team, and faculty deans and heads of study programs. The involvement of various leadership elements reflects the institution’s strong commitment to ensuring the success of the development of KIPK scholarship recipients.

The Head of the 2026 KIPK Monev Team, Arri Kurniawan, S.S., M.Pd., stated in his report that KIPK recipient students are expected not only to excel academically but also to possess integrity and social responsibility.

“KIPK students need to have the awareness to utilize this assistance optimally so that they can complete their studies on time with the best results. This is closely related to discipline, the ability to set priorities, and commitment to the learning process,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Jeffry Handhika, M.Pd., M.Si., emphasized that the university is open to addressing various challenges faced by students, both academic and non-academic. He encouraged students to actively communicate with the university when encountering difficulties.

“We understand that each student faces different challenges. The university is here to assist, provide solutions, and ensure that students can remain focused on completing their studies,” he stated.

One of the KIPK scholarship recipients, Mochamad Baqi Wahyu Saputra from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, stated that the activity provided space for reflection as well as a sense of moral responsibility. “By participating in this monev, I feel more aware of the responsibility to account for the scholarship I have received,” he said.

Through this activity, UNIPMA once again reaffirmed its commitment to comprehensively developing KIPK scholarship recipients. This includes not only academic aspects but also strengthening literacy, character, and readiness to face socio-economic challenges in the digital era.

With structured development, KIPK recipients are expected to grow into an intellectual generation that is not only academically capable but also possesses integrity and responsibility in social life.
