Kartini in Action! UNIPMA Inaugurates Structural Officials, Strengthens Campus Governance
Coinciding with the commemoration of Kartini Day, Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held the inauguration and oath-taking ceremony for structural officials for the 2026–2030 term on Tuesday (April 21). The event, which took place at Graha Cendekia, marked a strategic step by the university to strengthen governance and accelerate institutional performance.
The inauguration covered several key positions, including deans, vice deans, faculty quality assurance officers, heads of study programs, secretaries of study programs, as well as heads and deputy heads of bureaus along with their staff.
The solemn ceremony was attended by the Rector of UNIPMA, Dr. H. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., the Chairman of the PPPLP PT PGRI Madiun Foundation, Dr. Nurhadji Nugraha, S.Pd., M.M., along with university leaders and members of the academic community.
In his remarks, the Rector of UNIPMA, Dr. H. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, emphasized that this inauguration marks the starting point for strengthening institutional performance. He encouraged the newly appointed officials to move swiftly, strengthen synergy, and improve the quality of educational services.
“Performance must be carried out immediately. Let us strengthen collaboration, maintain our work rhythm, and continuously improve the quality of the university to face future challenges,” he stated.
Dr. Nurhadji Nugraha, S.Pd., M.M., in his speech, conveyed the importance of humility in carrying out the mandate of a position. He likened it to the philosophy of rice: the fuller it is, the more it bows.
“A position is a mandate. The higher the position, the greater the demand to remain humble and provide benefits to the surrounding environment,” he said.
The event was also marked by a ceremonial tumpeng cutting as a symbol of renewed spirit and shared commitment to advancing UNIPMA. This moment served as a reminder of the importance of perseverance, collaboration, and dedication in building a progressive educational institution.
Through this inauguration, UNIPMA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the “Impactful Campus” program initiated by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology. This concept emphasizes the role of higher education institutions not only in academic achievements but also in making tangible contributions to society through research, innovation, and community service.
With this new leadership structure, UNIPMA is expected to become more solid in carrying out its strategic role, particularly in producing high-quality human resources who are adaptive and capable of making real contributions to social, economic, and environmental development.
