Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) presented various opportunities for higher education to students in Jombang Regency through its participation in the Education Fair organized by the Guidance and Counseling Teachers Association (MGBK) of Jombang Regency. The event took place at Gelora Abi As’ad UNIPDU Peterongan, Jombang, on Tuesday–Wednesday (20–21/1).

The MGBK Education Fair is an annual event that brings together senior high school/vocational school/Islamic senior high school students with various public and private universities as well as educational institutions. The event aims to provide information on further studies, study programs, scholarships, and career paths.

This education fair serves as a platform for senior high school students and their equivalents to become familiar with various universities in East Java. Through this event, students gain references to campuses along with information on further education pathways that align with their interests and abilities.

In this activity, UNIPMA deployed its New Student Admission (PMB) Team consisting of lecturers, education staff, and students. The UNIPMA delegation included Dr. Endang Sri Maruti, S.Pd.,M.Pd., Joko Widiyanto, S.Pd., M.Pd., Dr. Raras Setyo Retno, S.P., M.Pd., Zainal Arifin, S.Pd., Salma Hafizh, and Moch. Baqi Wahyu Saputra.

One member of the UNIPMA PMB team, Moch. Baqi Wahyu Saputra, stated that UNIPMA was present to provide comprehensive information regarding opportunities to pursue higher education, including the various scholarship programs available. “We want to ensure that prospective students receive clear and open information, especially regarding scholarship opportunities,” he said on Tuesday (20/1).

During the exhibition, UNIPMA introduced a number of scholarship programs, including the Indonesia Smart Card for Higher Education (KIP) Scholarship, Hafidz Al-Qur’an Scholarship, Outstanding Student Scholarship, Superior Student Scholarship, Children of PGRI Members Scholarship, Partner School Tuition Discount Scholarship, Superior Scholarship for Students from Outside Java, as well as Parish/Community/Station Scholarships.

In addition to scholarships, UNIPMA also introduced various campus advantages, ranging from male and female dormitories, a six-story integrated laboratory, a national-standard sports complex, smart classrooms and a moot court, overseas internship programs, career development services, an A-accredited library, an online academic information system, easy transportation access, to affordable tuition fees.

Through its participation in this education fair, UNIPMA hopes to assist senior high school students and their equivalents in Jombang Regency in planning their further studies. This activity also serves as a strategic step for UNIPMA to expand its promotional reach and attract prospective students from various regions.
