UNIPMA Holds Welcoming Program for International Lecture Series 2025, Welcomes International Lecturer from the Philippines
Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held the Welcoming Program for the International Lecture Series 2025 as a form of official reception for the international lecturer, Mary Angelie S. Cabacungan, MAeD, from the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) Philippines. The event took place in the Rectorate Meeting Room at UNIPMA Campus 1, on Thursday (13/11), yesterday.
This activity is part of the implementation of the international cooperation between UNIPMA and NEUST which has been established in various programs, such as Guest Lecture, Faculty Mobility, Student Exchange, Joint Research, and Joint Community Service. This collaboration is a strategic step for UNIPMA in strengthening its global network and expanding cross-country academic experience.
A total of eight Study Programs (Prodi) will be directly involved in the joint lecture activities with the international lecturer from NEUST, namely: Master's in Social Sciences (IPS), Law, Biology Education, Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI), PPKN (Civics Education), Science Education, and Physics Education. Through this activity, students will gain a broader and more interactive learning experience with a global perspective.
The welcoming event was attended by the Rector of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., accompanied by the Vice Rector for Field IV, Dr. Jeffry Handika, M.Pd., the Bureau of Cooperation and Public Relations (BKH), and representatives from each study program.
In his speech, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., asserted that the presence of the international lecturer is concrete proof of the university's commitment to continuously move towards becoming an international-class campus. He believes that the international learning program is a new strength in enriching the academic dynamics within the UNIPMA environment.
"We are committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where students can grow and contribute. The presence of international lecturers brings a fresh perspective while expanding the global insight of the academic community," said Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd.
Through the Welcoming Program for the International Lecture Series 2025, UNIPMA reaffirms its commitment to supporting the internationalization of higher education, while opening space for sustainable global collaboration for the advancement of the quality of learning and research within the campus environment.
