UNIPMA Holds 2025 Job Fair, 35 Companies Ready to Hire Alumni

PGRI Madiun University (UNIPMA), through its Alumni Association (IKA), successfully held the 2025 Job Fair at Graha Cendekia yesterday, Monday (20/10). This event serves as a bridge for prospective graduates and alumni to enter the professional world in line with their respective fields of study.

The Head of the Organizing Committee, Moch. Ubaidillah, S.Pd., M.Si., stated that this job fair was designed as a meeting space between graduates and the industry. "The goal is to help alumni find employment, broaden their perspectives, and pursue a career that aligns with their interests and field of study," he said.

The 2025 Job Fair is a continuation of the Alumni Briefing event themed "Building Your Career: Harmony of Passion and Reality," which was previously held last Tuesday (14/10).

The Person-in-Charge (PIC) of the event, Dr. Ratih Christiana, M.Pd., reported that the total number of registered participants reached 984 people. They were divided into three sessions based on the faculties at UNIPMA.

Out of this number, 27 students were recorded as already working, two participants are currently undergoing an internship, and 28 others had requested permission due to readiness for work. Dr. Ratih Christiana, M.Pd., also conveyed that the UNIPMA Job Fair is held regularly every semester with funding support from IKA UNIPMA.

"The Job Fair is held to expand job opportunities, strengthen the university's cooperation with industry partners, and provide direct access for alumni to connect with companies," she explained.

A total of 35 partner companies participated in this agenda, with 32 of them attending in person. The involvement of these dozens of industry partners opens up cross-sector job opportunities for UNIPMA graduates.

The event was officially opened by the Rector of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of graduates' readiness to face job competition. "After graduation, it is time to demonstrate your capabilities and uphold the good name of the alma mater in your respective workplaces. The partners present today open opportunities for professional competition," he advised.

The event was also attended by Dr. Jeffry Handika, M.Pd., M.Si (Vice Rector for Field IV), Lecturers, Staff, the committee, and company representatives.

As a follow-up, the committee provided a walk-in interview space for companies wishing to directly recruit potential candidates. Monitoring of alumni job placement will also be carried out through partner reports and UNIPMA's free career counseling services available at Campus 1.

With the involvement of dozens of companies and nearly a thousand participants, the 2025 Job Fair reaffirms UNIPMA's commitment to bridging graduates with the industrial world, while strengthening its vision of producing superior and competitive human resources in the global market.
