Another Achievement! UNIPMA Wins Outstanding University from Radar Madiun

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has once again affirmed its position as a leading campus in the Madiun region by receiving the Outstanding University award at the Jawa Pos Radar Madiun Awards 2025, held at the Grand Bima Ballroom, Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center, on Friday (26/9).

The award was received by Vice Rector IV, Dr. Jeffry Handhika, M.Si., M.Pd., who represented the Rector of UNIPMA at this annual event organized by the Jawa Pos Group through Radar Madiun Daily.

The Outstanding University title was awarded in recognition of UNIPMA’s significant contribution to advancing education in the Madiun region. The Radar Madiun Awards is a prestigious event dedicated to honoring individuals, institutions, and both public and private sectors, as well as innovative figures who bring positive impact to the region. This year’s awards featured various categories, including Transformative Leader, Public Sector Excellence, Healthcare Excellence, Best Corporate, Outstanding Parliament, and Outstanding University.

The primary goal of this award is to provide public recognition of the dedication, innovation, and contributions of the recipients, while also serving as motivation for all stakeholders to continuously improve service quality and regional development. Radar Madiun positions itself as a strategic partner—not only delivering information but also highlighting the positive achievements of institutions and local figures.

Currently, UNIPMA offers 30 study programs, seven of which have already received the highest “Unggul” accreditation. The university also has four professors and is preparing to launch a Doctoral Program (S3) this year. In terms of facilities, UNIPMA recently inaugurated the Faculty of Engineering building, equipped with modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, and a digital-based learning system.

Additionally, UNIPMA has introduced four smart classrooms and hybrid classrooms at Campus 1, funded through a Rp400 million grant from the Directorate General of Higher Education (Ditjen Dikti). These facilities enhance interactive learning, including for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) students and postgraduate programs.

The inauguration of the Faculty of Engineering building by East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa symbolizes UNIPMA’s commitment to producing future engineers ready to compete globally.

With its academic achievements, strengthened resources, and development of modern facilities, UNIPMA continues to establish itself as a campus adaptive to technological advancements. The Outstanding University award further affirms UNIPMA’s commitment to producing graduates who are technologically literate, professional, and highly competitive.
