Through BICONE 2025, UNIPMA Strengthens Global Collaboration and Scientific Publications
Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) once again affirmed its presence on the international stage. This year, UNIPMA was entrusted as a co-host of the 1st Bhinneka International Conference (BICONE) 2025, organized by Universitas Bhinneka PGRI Tulungagung on September 25–26, 2025.
The international conference, themed “Empowering Society 5.0: Education, Technology, and Social Transformation,” served as a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners from various countries to share insights on educational transformation, technological advancement, and social change in the era of Society 5.0.
Head of the Bureau of Cooperation and Public Relations (BKH) UNIPMA, Dr. Sri Lestari, S.Pd., M.Pd., emphasized that UNIPMA’s participation as a co-host of BICONE 2025 is a strategic step to strengthen international collaboration, particularly with Universitas Bhinneka PGRI, while also implementing cooperation in the field of education. “This involvement demonstrates recognition of UNIPMA’s contribution at the global level. Through BICONE, our lecturers have the opportunity to present their scientific works and establish research networks with scholars from around the world,” she stated on Thursday (25/9).
From UNIPMA, the following names were listed as presenters:

Hani Atun Mumtahana, S.Kom., M.Kom. – “A TOGAF-Based Approach to Developing an Enterprise Architecture Design for Majelis Teater Selangor, Malaysia.”

Dr. Diyah Santi Hariyani, S.E., M.Si. – “The Influence of the Proportion of Independent Commissioners, Leverage, and Company Size on Tax Avoidance: Profitability as a Moderating Variable.”

Dr. Restu Lusiana, S.Pd., M.Pd. – “Teacher Noticing as a Catalyst for Students’ Mathematical Thinking: A Perspective from Educational Literature.”
These articles will be published in the conference proceedings and have the potential to be included in reputable journals, thereby strengthening UNIPMA’s academic contribution on the global stage.
Dr. Sri Lestari added that UNIPMA’s role as co-host is expected to improve the quality of lecturers’ publications while also serving as a strategic avenue to elevate the university’s reputation internationally. “We want UNIPMA to continue being present in international forums. This aligns with our vision to foster an academic community that is competitive, adaptive, and globally oriented,” she continued.
By co-hosting BICONE 2025, UNIPMA not only expands its international cooperation network but also reaffirms its commitment to supporting innovation, social transformation, and the advancement of knowledge across nations.
