PKKMB FIKS UNIPMA 2025: Shaping the Character of Competitive New Students 

The Faculty of Sports Science and Sciences (FIKS) at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) welcomed 67 new students through the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) program held at the Faculty of Engineering (FT) Building on Tuesday (16/9). They consisted of 36 students from the Sports Science Study Program and 31 students from the Pharmacy Study Program.

The event was led directly by the Dean of FIKS, Dr. drh. Cicilia Novi Primiani, M.Pd., and attended by the Vice Dean, heads of study programs, Head of Quality Assurance, and lecturers. PKKMB became an important momentum to introduce the academic culture while also shaping the character of new students to be ready to adapt to the campus environment.

In her speech, Dr. drh. Cicilia Novi Primiani, M.Pd., emphasized FIKS’s commitment to producing graduates who are ready to compete. “We want to produce graduates in the fields of health sciences and sciences who are not only competitive but also entrepreneurial,” she asserted.

During the event, students received materials on the vision, mission, history, and facilities of the faculty. They were also introduced to cultural values and campus life ethics by the dean, the Faculty Student Association (HMF), the curriculum of each study program and the implementation of the Kampus Berdampak program by the heads of study programs, as well as the Study Program Student Associations (HMPS).

In addition, new students were also introduced to the bureaus and units at UNIPMA that can support academic activities as well as the development of interests and talents. Their presence is expected to bring new energy in achieving accomplishments in the fields of health, science, entrepreneurship, and education.
