The Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) was successfully held at Graha Cendekia UNIPMA on Monday (15/9), yesterday. A total of 438 new students from 14 study programs officially joined the big family of FKIP UNIPMA.

PKKMB is a regular agenda aimed at introducing the academic environment, starting from the university, faculty, to the study program level to new students.

The presence of this year’s students added to the excitement of FKIP, which oversees the following study programs: Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI), English Language Education (PBI), Civic Education (PPKn), History Education, Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD), Early Childhood Education (PG Paud), Counseling Guidance (BK), Biology Education, Science Education, Physics Education, Mathematics Education, Economics Education, Accounting Education, and Electrical Engineering Education (PTE).

Dean of FKIP UNIPMA, Dr. Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd., in his speech emphasized the importance for new students to know the faculty management structure as well as the role of lecturers and educational staff in supporting academic, research, and community service activities. “It is mandatory to know who manages FKIP UNIPMA so that later in the process you know who to coordinate with,” he said in his address.

On this occasion, Dr. Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd., also introduced the faculty leadership ranks, including:

5. FKIP Educational Staff (Tendik): Etiko and Dinda

The opening of PKKMB FKIP UNIPMA 2025 was also filled with introductory materials regarding the vision, mission, history, as well as the facilities and infrastructure of the faculty. New students also received presentations on campus life values and ethics by the dean, introduction to the Faculty Student Association (HMF), study program curriculum and implementation of the Kampus Berdampak program by the heads of study programs, introduction to the Study Program Student Association (HMPS), as well as introduction to bureaus and units at UNIPMA.

Through this PKKMB, it is expected that new students of FKIP UNIPMA can adapt more quickly, understand the academic culture, and utilize the available facilities to support their achievements in the field of education.
