Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) through the Language Development Center (P2B) once again held a Preparatory Program for lecturers teaching international classes. The event, held at the UNIPMA Language Center Laboratory from February 24 to March 7, 2025, was attended by 10–15 lecturers from various study programs, including Economics, Early Childhood Education (PAUD), Indonesian Language & Literature Education (PBSI), Industrial Engineering, Guidance and Counseling (BK), Biology, Accounting, and Management.

For two weeks, participants received training in theory and strategies for English Medium Instruction (EMI), preparation of teaching materials, and teaching practice. This program also serves as a platform to enhance language and pedagogical skills to support international-standard lectures.

Head of the UNIPMA Language Center, Dr. Fitra Pinandhita, M.Pd., emphasized that the Preparatory Program not only trains language skills but also equips pedagogical strategies for teaching in international classes. “Like previous batches, this program supports lecturers in the context of EMI to be ready when there is an International Credit Transfer (ICT) program,” she said on, March 07, 2025.

As a routine agenda each semester, the Preparatory Program, now entering its 15th batch, is a strategic step by UNIPMA to support International Credit Transfer (ICT) and lecturer exchanges (guest lectures) with partner universities abroad. The consistent implementation demonstrates UNIPMA’s commitment to strengthening lecturer competencies while promoting campus internationalization.
