Strengthening Its International Reputation, UNIPMA Signs MoU and Conducts Benchmarking with Bulacan Agricultural State College, Philippines 

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has once again asserted its presence on the global stage. Through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and benchmarking activities with Bulacan Agricultural State College, Philippines, UNIPMA is expanding its international network. This agenda took place in the Meeting Room of Campus 1 UNIPMA on Saturday, 09/08/2025.

The meeting focused on developing innovative collaboration and strengthening partnerships across various fields. The signing marked the commitment of both universities to enhance the quality of education and research.

The event was led by UNIPMA Rector Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., accompanied by Vice Rector II Dr. Marheny Lukitasari, M.Pd., Vice Rector IV Dr. Jeffry Handika, M.Pd., M.Si., Graduate School Dean Dr. Dwi Setyadi, M.M., Head of Master’s Program in Primary Education Dr. Cerianing Putri Pratiwi, M.Pd., Head of Science Program Dr. Tantri Mayasari, M.Pd., Dr. Ivayuni Listiani, S.Pd., M.Pd., as well as Head of Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau (BKH) Dr. Sri Lestari, S.Pd., M.Pd., along with the BKH International Division. From Bulacan Agricultural State College, Maria Krisvie, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Education and Graduate School of Education, and Dr. Meriam F. Sulit, Director of the International Relations Office, were present.

In her remarks, Maria Krisvie, Ph.D., emphasized the importance of cross-national partnerships to broaden academic perspectives. “This cooperation not only opens opportunities for joint learning but also serves as a bridge for exchanging ideas and experiences,” she said.

Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., expressed optimism about the opportunities created by this partnership. “We see this collaboration as a strategic step to enhance the quality of research and innovation, as well as to strengthen UNIPMA’s position on the international stage,” he stated.

The event became more interactive with presentations from both universities covering their profiles, flagship programs, and opportunities for collaboration. The session continued with a Q&A, providing a platform for participants to exchange ideas and experiences.

The MoU signing was also attended by representatives from Universitas PGRI Empu Sendok Nganjuk, Universitas PGRI Silampari, Universitas Persatuan Guru 1945 NTT, and Universitas PGRI Pontianak.
