The poster art category in the National Student Sports and Arts Week (PORSENASMA) V PT PGRI 2025 was successfully held on Friday, 08/08/2025. The competition took place in two locations: the Mathematics Computer Lab on the 3rd floor of Campus 1 Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) for the creative process, and the hallway of Campus 2 for the exhibition.

Carrying the theme “Fostering Solidarity through Sportsmanship,” the competition was attended by 15 participants from various PGRI universities across Indonesia. The event coordinator, Anjar Mukti Wibowo, S.Sn., S.Pd., M.Pd., expressed his gratitude for the participants’ enthusiasm. “The response was very positive and became a motivation for students from each university to continue creating,” he said.

The jury panel came from three different fields of expertise: information technology, the arts, and academic disciplines relevant to poster design. Judging criteria included originality of the work, uniqueness of the idea, design balance, alignment with the theme, and overall artistic quality.

In addition to addressing the main theme, participants were also asked to create a title and description to reinforce the message of their poster. Anjar Mukti Wibowo, S.Sn., S.Pd., M.Pd., hopes this competition can enhance student creativity while promoting the development of artwork based on graphic design technology in the future.

• Honorable Mention 1: Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya

• Honorable Mention 2: Universitas Bhinneka PGRI

• Honorable Mention 3: Universitas PGRI Ronggolawe Tuban

This event proves that poster art is not merely about drawing, but a form of visual communication that blends creativity, moral messages, and aesthetic strength.
