PKM Proposal Competition Enlivens PORSENASMA V PT PGRI at UNIPMA

PORSENASMA V PT PGRI Nationwide 2025 is not only a stage for art and sports talents but also a platform for student creativity and innovation. This was evident in the lively competition for writing proposals for the Student Creativity Program (PKM), held in Room 301, Campus 1, Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), Wednesday, 06/08/2025.

A total of 27 PGRI universities from all over Indonesia participated in this competition. The proposals competed in two main schemes, namely PKM Community Service (PKM-PM) and PKM Entrepreneurship (PKM-K), followed by 14 and 13 universities respectively.

Dr. Edy Suprapto, S.Si., M.Pd., the person in charge of the activity, conveyed that the entire competition ran smoothly and took place in a positive academic atmosphere. “So far the competition has run smoothly. All processes starting from presentation, judging, and announcement will be done on the same day,” he explained.

The committee involved judges from various campuses, some of whom have served as judges in the National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS). The judges came from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Politeknik Negeri Surabaya, and Politeknik Negeri Madiun.

“By bringing in professional and experienced judges, we hope the assessment process will be more objective and provide constructive feedback for participants,” said Dr. Edy Suprapto, S.Si., M.Pd.

Although there was no specific theme, participants were directed to follow the PKM framework according to Belmawa guidelines. For the PKM-PM category, participants were free to raise social issues based on community needs. Meanwhile, in the PKM-K category, participants presented creative business ideas, whether in the form of products or services.

Dr. Edy Suprapto, S.Si., M.Pd., also emphasized that the main goal of this competition was not merely competition. “We hope these proposals will not stop at PORSENASMA but can be developed and submitted to the PKM Belmawa program next year. I think the potential is very great,” he concluded.
