A total of 151 athletes from the University of PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) are ready to compete in the National Student Sports and Arts Week (Porsenasma) V 2025, which will be held at UNIPMA as the host, on August 4–9, 2025. The spirit and enthusiasm of the athletes were shown during the contingent release ceremony held at Graha Cendekia UNIPMA, Thursday, 31/7/2025, yesterday.

The release ceremony was attended directly by Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd (Rector of UNIPMA), Dr. Elva Nuraini, S.E., M.Si (Vice Rector for Academic Affairs), the Director of Student Affairs, athlete companions, and the entire contingent.

In his report, Head of the Student Affairs Agency Arri Kurniawan, S.S., M.Pd., stated that preparations had been made. “For this year’s Porsenasma, there are 25 branches of sports, arts, and scientific fields that will be participated in. The athletes have undergone intensive training to be able to perform optimally and bring a good name to the university,” explained Arri Kurniawan, S.S., M.Pd.

Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., in his speech stated that UNIPMA’s responsibility as host is not only limited to the technical aspects of organizing the event, but also in how to provide the best impression and service to all participants.
“We must be ready to be a good host, provide clear information, friendly service, and comfort throughout the event. UNIPMA will try its best so that participants from various universities feel satisfied and comfortable,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, Dr. Elva Nuraini, S.E., M.Si., gave a motivational message to the athletes to always uphold sportsmanship. “Effort must be maximized. Stay enthusiastic, consistent, maintain your health, and stay focused. Most importantly, to the best,” she firmly stated.
One of the volleyball athletes, Indra Cahaya from the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, FKIP UNIPMA, admitted that he had prepared himself with regular training with the team. “We have made thorough preparations. Of course, the hope is to give the best for UNIPMA and bring home medals,” he said enthusiastically.
