The Law Study Program of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a socialization event on the use of the logbook feature in the Thesis Supervision Academic Management Information System (SIM) on Saturday, 14/06/2025.

This activity was specifically aimed at 2021 cohort students who are currently undergoing thesis supervision during the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

This socialization is part of the Law Study Program’s efforts to support the digitalization of academic services and to improve order and responsibility among students in the final assignment writing process.

The main speaker, Whisnu Rindra, S.Kom., who serves as the Secretary of the Academic Administration Bureau of UNIPMA, delivered a technical presentation on the use of the digital logbook in the Thesis Supervision SIM. The materials covered the procedures for filling in the logbook, supervision validation processes, and how to report progress online.

Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Siska Diana Sari, S.H., M.H., welcomed the implementation of this workshop in her opening remarks. She sees the adoption of the digital logbook as a concrete step toward more transparent and accountable academic governance.
“We hope this logbook encourages students to be more orderly and responsible throughout the supervision process. Do not fill it all at once or in retrospect, but complete it gradually according to the supervision stages,” she advised.

The event’s chief organizer and Head of the Law Study Program, Dr. Sulistya Eviningrum, S.H., M.H., added that this workshop is part of the program’s service to students.
“We aim to provide guidance from the beginning so that students understand their duties and responsibilities. The hope is that they not only focus on thesis content but also comply with administrative procedures such as filling out the logbook,” she stated.

Through this socialization, it is expected that UNIPMA Law Study Program students will be better prepared to utilize the available digital facilities and complete their final assignments effectively and on time.
