UNIPMA’s 50th Anniversary Scientific Oration: Realizing Synergy Toward a Prosperous Society through Digital Innovation 

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a Scientific Oration in celebration of its 50th Dies Natalis (anniversary) on Thursday, June 5, 2025. The event took place at Graha Cendekia UNIPMA and carried the theme “Synergy Between Higher Education, Industry, and Government in Promoting Societal Welfare through the Creative Economy and Digital Technology.”

The event was attended by the leadership of PGRI Madiun University, including the Chair of PPLP PT PGRI, Rector, Deans, Heads of Study Programs, lecturers, administrative staff, and students. In his remarks, UNIPMA Rector Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., emphasized the importance of continuously strengthening the quality of services and university governance. He encouraged the academic community to collectively build competitiveness, foster an entrepreneurial spirit, and form strong collaborations within the campus environment.

“This golden milestone reminds us to stay committed to improving quality, both in services and institutional management. Every academic member is expected to embody a competitive spirit, entrepreneurial mindset, and readiness to collaborate. Through unity, we can drive academic progress and sustainably strengthen our study programs,” he stated.

Congratulations on UNIPMA’s golden anniversary came from various partner universities, both domestic and international, including Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta, Universitas PGRI Semarang, Universitas Mpu Sendok, STKIP PGRI Trenggalek, and international partners such as Hatyai University, Walailak University, and Thaksin University (Thailand), ISATU (Philippines), and Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (Malaysia). Regional leaders such as the Mayor of Madiun, and the Regents of Magetan and Ngawi also offered their congratulations and support.

The Vice Governor of East Java, Dr. H. Emil Elestianto Dardak, B.Bus., M.Sc., also extended his appreciation through an online speech, recognizing UNIPMA’s role in developing high-quality human resources who are resilient in facing the demands of a changing era. “Wishing continued success to UNIPMA in producing graduates who are not only competent but also adaptive to future challenges,” he said.

The highlight of the event was the delivery of the Scientific Oration by Dr. Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd., Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at UNIPMA. In his oration, he emphasized the critical importance of synergy between higher education institutions, industry, and government in advancing society through the creative economy and digital technology.

UNIPMA’s 50th Dies Natalis is expected to serve as a strategic momentum to reaffirm the university’s commitment to producing outstanding graduates who are ready to face global challenges and capable of making tangible contributions to innovation-driven industrial development.
