Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a solemn flag-raising ceremony on Monday, June 2, 2025, in honor of Indonesia’s Pancasila Day. The event took place in the courtyard of UNIPMA’s Campus 1 and was attended by members of the academic community, including university leadership, faculty members, administrative staff, and students.
Carrying the national theme “Pancasila: The Unifying Spirit Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045,” the ceremony aimed to reinforce the spirit of unity and revive the importance of national values within the university environment. The event was led by Dr. Bambang Eko Hari Cahyono, M.Pd., Vice Rector for Student Affairs (Bidang III), who served as the ceremony inspector.
The chosen theme aligns with the grand vision of Indonesia Emas 2045, which envisions the country as a sovereign, just, and prosperous developed nation. The commemoration of Pancasila Day at UNIPMA served as a powerful moment for reflection—on the enduring relevance of Pancasila as the nation’s ideological foundation and as a guiding principle in all aspects of civic and national life.
The event also served as a reminder for the entire UNIPMA academic community to consistently embody Pancasila values in every aspect of campus life—from teaching and community service to fostering an inclusive and character-driven academic culture.
The ceremony concluded with a tribute to the Indonesian flag and a communal prayer, offered as an expression of gratitude for the enduring spirit of nationalism that continues to be preserved and passed down through generations.
