Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has once again demonstrated its commitment to expanding its educational network through a visit from Universitas Riau Kepulauan (UNRIKA) to the UNIPMA campus on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. This strategic meeting was held in the Meeting Room of UNIPMA Campus 1 and was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the two institutions.

In a warm atmosphere, UNIPMA Rector, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., along with his team, personally welcomed the arrival of UNRIKA Rector, Prof. Dr. Hj. Sri Langgeng Ratnasari, S.E., M.M., and her entourage. This agenda serves as an initial step to strengthen collaboration in the tri-dharma of higher education.

Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo emphasized that this collaboration is not merely ceremonial but is a foundation for implementing concrete programs that will benefit both institutions. "We want to ensure that this cooperation does not end with the signing of documents alone. In the future, we hope to organize faculty and student exchanges, joint research, article publications, and other innovative programs," he said.

Furthermore, he added that UNIPMA is open to collaborations that can advance education and strengthen the institution's position in facing global challenges.

In line with this, UNRIKA Rector, Prof. Dr. Hj. Sri Langgeng Ratnasari, S.E., M.M., also expressed her enthusiasm for the potential collaboration. She highlighted several focus areas in the partnership, including the development of community service journals, strengthening human resources, and community empowerment programs in each region.

"We see many potentials that can be developed together. Hopefully, this collaboration can contribute to the improvement of educational quality and community service," she stated.

The meeting concluded with the exchange of souvenirs between the two universities as a symbol of friendship and the beginning of a closer synergy moving forward.

Through this strategic partnership, UNIPMA and UNRIKA hope to strengthen each other, innovate together, and bring broad benefits not only to the academic community but also to society as a whole.
