UNIPMA Strengthens International Network Through Lecturer Exchange Program in Odd Semester 2024/2025
Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) is holding an international lecturer exchange program involving lecturers from overseas partner universities. The program, which started in the odd semester of 2024/2025, aims to improve academic quality, expand cooperation networks, and strengthen UNIPMA's competitiveness in the international arena.
The head of the activity committee, Mr. Rizqi Husaini, S.Pd., M.Pd, said that this activity is a strategic step in expanding international collaboration and providing opportunities for lecturers and students to gain broader academic experience.
"This program is designed to create a richer learning experience for UNIPMA students by gaining new perspectives from international lecturers. In addition, UNIPMA lecturers also have the opportunity to teach at overseas universities, which of course will greatly enrich their knowledge and teaching skills," said Mr. Rizqi Husaini, S.Pd., M.Pd, yesterday (Tuesday 02/18/2025, yesterday.
This activity will take place from September 2024 to February 2025, with a flexible format, both offline and online. This exchange program involves UNIPMA lecturers who teach at partner universities abroad and vice versa; lecturers from partner universities abroad will teach at UNIPMA.
In addition, this program also strengthens the partnership between UNIPMA and foreign universities, which is expected to bring great benefits to the development of academics and education in Indonesia. In this program, several study programs involved include Mathematics Education, PGSD, Guidance and Counseling, English Education, Management, Tax Management, Electrical Engineering, Law, and Sports Science.
The main objective of this program is to improve academic quality and expand the partnership network between UNIPMA and partner universities abroad. In addition, through this program, UNIPMA hopes to introduce more varied and innovative teaching methods, which can increase the competitiveness of universities at the global level.
Mr. Rizqi Husaini, S.Pd., M.Pd also explained that "With this program, UNIPMA students are expected to gain broader knowledge from an international perspective. On the other hand, lecturers can also hone their skills in interacting with international students, which, of course, will broaden their horizons in the world of education."
This activity is one of UNIPMA's concrete steps in building stronger partnerships with foreign universities, which, of course, will bring great benefits to academic development and the quality of education in Indonesia.
Through this international lecturer exchange program, UNIPMA hopes to continue to strengthen its position as a university that has high competitiveness in the global arena while expanding opportunities for cooperation with various relevant international parties
