A historic moment occurred at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) on Saturday, 22/02/2025, yesterday when Prof. Dr. Drs. Muhammad Hanif. M.M., M.Pd., was officially inaugurated as a Professor in the field of Socio-Cultural Sciences. This inauguration was carried out in the Open Session of the Academic Senate which took place at the UNIPMA Graha Cendekia. This event was not only an important milestone for the career journey of Prof. Dr. Drs. Muhammad Hanif. M.M., M.Pd, but also reflected UNIPMA's strong commitment to advancing the quality of education and science in Indonesia.
In his interview, Prof. Dr. Drs. Muhammad Hanif. M.M., M.Pd emphasized the importance of continuing the tridharma of higher education, research, and community service, as the main foundation in every step of his service. He explained that in carrying out the tridharma, the main focus is on the development of Human Resources (HR) through research that can have a direct impact on society.
"Through this research, I hope to help the community's economy and open up new opportunities for their progress," said Prof. Dr. Drs. Muhammad Hanif. M.M., M.Pd., in his interview after the inauguration.
Prof. Dr. Drs. Muhammad Hanif. M.M., M.Pd., raised a research topic entitled "Cultivating Religious Moderation in the Life of the Buddhist Village Community of Sodong Gelangkulon Sampung Ponorogo". This research is very relevant to the conditions of Indonesia which is rich in diversity, and has great potential for the development of theory and practice of multicultural community life.
Through the Community Service (Abdimas) program, Prof. Dr. Drs. Muhammad Hanif, M.M., M.Pd., seeks to apply the results of his research to improve the quality of life and economy of the community. "This Abdimas aims to provide a direct impact, not only in theory but also in implementation that can be felt by the community," he said.
