KKN-T PM UNIPMA 2025 in Magetan Officially Concludes, Introducing KKN Awards as Recognition for Students
The Thematic Community Service Program for Community Empowerment (KKN-T PM) of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) 2025 officially concluded on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Pendopo Surya Graha, Magetan Regency. The closing ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials from the Magetan Regency Government, including the Acting Regent of Magetan, Bappeda, and various other officials, marking an important moment in the 40-day KKN activities.
A total of 808 UNIPMA students were deployed across 40 villages in four districts: Magetan, Sidorejo, Ngariboyo, and Kawedanan. The program ran from December 23, 2024, to February 1, 2025, with the aim of applying academic knowledge through community service.
As part of the KKN-T PM 2025 closing event, the KKN Awards 2025 was also held, serving as a platform to recognize outstanding student groups during the KKN activities. This award aims to motivate students to be more productive in designing and implementing work programs that benefit the community. It also serves as a showcase for the contributions made during the service program.
In his speech, the Head of the KKN-T PM UNIPMA 2025 Committee, Dr. Lingga Nico Pradana, M.Pd., expressed gratitude to the Magetan Regency Government for their full support in ensuring the smooth execution of the program. "We hope that the programs carried out during KKN will provide long-term benefits for the people of Magetan and can be continued by relevant stakeholders," he stated.
The Head of the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Development Agency of Magetan Regency, Elmy Kurnianto Widodo, S.T., M.T., emphasized the importance of KKN implementation as a means to boost local productivity. "This KKN activity not only provides knowledge but also makes a real contribution to regional development. We will continue to support and develop this program into a flagship event that benefits the community," he said.
The Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at UNIPMA, Dr. Bambang Eko Hari Cahyono, M.Pd., representing the UNIPMA Rector, also expressed appreciation to the Magetan Regency Government for their tremendous support. "We hope that programs such as MSME development, village-owned enterprises (Bumdes) empowerment, and village cleanliness activities can continue to be sustained by village officials and the local community," he said.
The Acting Regent of Magetan Regency, Nizhamul, S.E., M.M., also delivered an inspiring speech. He emphasized that KKN is not just an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge but also a way to bring direct benefits to the community. "The presence of students in the KKN program provides concrete solutions to community problems and plays a role in the success of regional development," he stated.
According to data presented by the Secretary of KKN-T PM UNIPMA 2025, Dr. Ratih Christiana, M.Pd., the winners of the KKN Awards 2025 are as follows:
1st Place: KKN-T PM Desa Mangunrejo, Kawedanan District, Magetan Regency.
2nd Place: KKN-T PM Desa Garon, Kawedanan District, Magetan Regency.
3rd Place: KKN-T PM Desa Ringinangung, Magetan District, Magetan Regency.
The winners were selected based on various assessment criteria, including the quality and quantity of work programs implemented, the level of community and village government involvement, and the positive impact generated by each KKN group’s activities.
KKN-T PM UNIPMA 2025, which carried the theme "Community Empowerment," has proven to have a significant impact on the people of Magetan. Various programs such as MSME training, Bumdes empowerment, and village cleanliness initiatives were successfully implemented through the collaboration of students, village governments, and local communities. This program is expected to serve as a sustainable model that can continue to develop in the future.
With this meaningful closing event, KKN-T PM UNIPMA 2025 has successfully left a lasting impact, not only for the participating students but also for the people of Magetan who have directly benefited from the service programs.
