Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) once again produced professional educators by releasing 333 graduates of the Uji Kompetensi Peserta Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (UKPPPG) Calon Guru Wave 2 of 2024. The ceremony took place on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Graha Cendekia UNIPMA, attended by university leaders, invited guests, and faculty members.

The graduates being released are students from the PPG Prajabatan Wave 2 of 2023, who have completed two semesters of study, passed the Written Exam, and the Performance Exam as part of the graduation requirements. The Rector of UNIPMA, Vice Rector, Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), as well as Program Coordinators, were present to witness this historic moment.

In his speech, the Dean of FKIP, Dr. Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd., shared motivational messages with the graduates. He reminded them to uphold the good name of their alma mater and to actively contribute to the evolving world of education.

“Be an inspiring teacher, and always continue learning to keep up with developments in technology, education, and societal issues,” said Dr. Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd.

The highlight of the event was the symbolic handover of the educator certificates to the graduates, marking their official recognition as professional teachers. The graduates of UKPPPG consisted of:

• PPG Prajabatan Wave 1 of 2023 (Retakers):

  • PPKn: 1 graduate
  • Bahasa Indonesia: 7 graduates

• PPG Prajabatan Wave 2 of 2023 (First-takers):

  • Elementary School Teachers: 222 graduates
  • PPKn: 22 graduates
  • History: 9 graduates
  • Mathematics: 53 graduates
  • Guidance Counseling: 19 graduates

The handover of the certificates marks the beginning of the graduates' journey as professional and dedicated teachers. UNIPMA hopes that these graduates will contribute significantly to society, particularly in the field of education in Indonesia.
