Collaborating with BEM UNIPMA, Immanuel Fellowship Holds Easter Celebration

Collaborating with the Student Executive Board (BEM) of Universitas PGRI Madiun, the Immanuel Fellowship held an Easter Celebration at the UNIPMA Integrated Lab, on Saturday, 06/04/2024. The Immanuel Fellowship is made up of members of PGRI Madiun University students and students who are Christians and Catholics.

The activity begins with a welcoming speech by singing praises and preaching the Word. Then, it continued with the main event, namely games to decorate boiled eggs brought by the participants.

“The Easter celebration teaches suffering and misery to hope for true happiness. Christ himself experienced suffering before his resurrection, he taught us to be strong and trust in God even in difficult situations.” Said Gracsia Andhika as chief executive.

The theme "Christ's Resurrection Gives Life Full of Hope" has a reason. Because this theme is a representation of the Easter season where there will be life and new birth to be the hope of Christ.

The Easter fun was also attended by Dr. Elva Nuraina, SE., M.Sc (Deputy Chancellor for Division I), Lecturers, Employees, Bem Supervisors, KEMENAG, and Students from (Widya Mandala University, Stikes, Polytechnic, UNMER, students of Scholar Vocational School, PMM, ICT, and Pers Edukasi ). Total reached 35 people.

In his speech, Dr. Elva Nuraina, SE., M.Si said that she believes that this Easter event can help and protect all students, both non-Muslim and Muslim. He also supports the formation of the Immanuel Fellowship to become a UKM for non-Muslim students at Universitas PGRI Madiun.

The Easter activities that took place were very lively and exciting because apart from games, they were also celebrated by eating together. This aims to maintain good relations between each other. This year's Easter celebration hopes to always be tolerant between religious communities within Universitas PGRI Madiun.
