The Economic Education Student Association (Himako) Universitas PGRI Madiun held a social service event with the theme "Serving with Heart, Moving with Action". This event is Himako's routine in the holy month of Ramadhan every year with the aim of showing student concern for the surrounding community.

The social service was carried out at the Siti Hajar Orphanage, Caruban, Madiun Regency, on Monday, 01/04/2024 and was accompanied directly by the Head of the Economic Education Study Program, Mr. Ramadhan Prasetya Wibawa, M.Pd and other lecturers.

Zenu Khanafi, as the chief organizer of the activity, reported that 35 children attended. The event began with remarks from the Head of the Economic Education Study Program, the Orphanage Caretaker, and the Chair of the Committee.

Entering the Maghrib call to prayer, a group fasting prayer was carried out led by the Caretaker of the Orphanage, Mr. Agus. Participants then enjoyed food and drinks provided by the committee. The highlight of the event was the handover of compensation in the form of cash, basic necessities and other things. Apart from getting logistics, all orphanage children receive school supplies such as books.

This event was a success thanks to the support of the entire extended family of the PGRI Madiun University Economic Education Study Program community. The hope is that with social service, the existence of Himako UNIPMA will add blessings and provide benefits.
