Universitas PGRI Madiun showed the joy of Ramadhan by holding a commemoration of Nuzulul Qur'an 1455H on Thursday, 28/03/2024 at Graha Ilmu. The event, attended by the entire PGRI Madiun University academic community, carried the theme "Knitting Ummah Brotherhood Through Al-Quran Values".

The theme chosen aims to increase understanding and love of the Koran in society. Nuzulul Quran, which is the event of the descent of the Koran from a high place (Lauful Mahfuz) to earth mediated by the angel Gabriel, is the main focus of this effort.

The Nuzulul Qur'an commemoration was a moment full of blessings for the entire PGRI Madiun University community, starting with the reading of the holy verses of the Koran by UKKI At-Tarbiyah and continued with the Hadroh performance from Shoutul Murobby.

Chancellor PGRI Madiun University, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd, conveyed the importance of building brotherhood among the Ummah through the values ​​contained in the Al-Quran. “Nuzulul Qur'an reminds us of the blessings and guidance in our holy book. Through the values ​​contained in each verse, we can improve, build brotherhood, and create a better life." Said Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd.

Ust enlivened the Nuzulul Qur'an commemoration event. Hamim Jazuli from the Al-Ikhlas Karasan Islamic Boarding School, Magetan, East Java. He gave religious sermons to all participants. His presence and the participants' enthusiasm made the Nuzulul Qur'an commemoration event show warmth and blessings in the holy month of Ramadan. Through activities like this, it is hoped that the fasting of Ramadan will continue to be maintained and maintained and increase noble religious values.
