Fighting Drugs Together with Group 33 KKN-T UNIPMA and Ponorogo Narcotics Unit Police Division 

In collaboration with the Ponorogo Regency Narcotics Task Force Division Police, the 33 KKN-T Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) group successfully held socialization activities to fight drugs together at the Tanjungsari Village Hall, Jenangan District, Ponorogo Regency, East Java, Sunday, 21/01/2024, yesterday.

The enthusiasm of the residents in participating in the activity was very high, especially the young men and women of Tanjungsari Village, they seemed to enjoy the instructions from the resource person. According to reports submitted to UNIPMA Public Relations, the youth participants came from various levels of education, from junior high school to high school/vocational school and university students.

By inviting resource persons directly from the Ponorogo Narcotics Division Police, residents were given education about the dangers of drug abuse, the impact of drug use, law enforcement and the social impact of drug dealers.

Involvement with the Ponorogo Narcotics Unit Police Division aims to provide concrete direction regarding a safe and drug-free environment. It is hoped that the knowledge provided directly can open insight and knowledge about drugs. The collaboration by the UNIPMA KKN-T group and the Ponorogo Narcotics Unit Police Division created a positive synergy between universities and law enforcement agencies. The event then ended with the handing over of a plaque from the Ponorogo Narcotics Unit Police Division to the village head.

"The importance of insight and knowledge regarding the dangers of drug abuse must be given from an early age. Of course, the younger generation must understand and be pioneers in providing education about the dangers of drugs." Said Brilian Jalu Fatwa the chief organizer of the activity, Thursday, 25/01/2024, yesterday.

The hope is that after the implementation of socialization about fighting drugs. Residents and youth can set an example of a healthy lifestyle and avoid drugs because drugs can kill everything.
