UNIPMA Hands Over Hundreds of KKNT Students to Ponorogo Regency

A cheerful atmosphere was seen at Pendopo Agung Ponorogo, on Thursday, 20/12/2023, yesterday. Around 471 Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKN) students from Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) are preparing to carry out an important mission in 10 villages located in Balong and Jenangan Districts, Ponorogo Regency.

UNIPMA students from various study programs will go directly to these villages to carry out renovation, social service and community service activities. Under the guidance of UNIPMA lecturers, students will work together with residents and related parties to provide innovative solutions to village problems faced by the community.

Before leaving for the relevant location, UNIPMA students were warmly welcomed by the Regent of Ponorogo Kang Sugiri Sancoko and the Chancellor of UNIPMA Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. The Regent of Ponorogo also stated the importance of synergy between universities and the government to improve the quality and welfare of village communities.

UNIPMA students themselves felt very enthusiastic about this KKN activity. "I am happy to be involved in this activity because it can provide benefits to the community and provide a positive experience for us," said Fernanda Fitriani, one of the UNIPMA students.

KKN is a form of community service activity that is routinely carried out every year by UNIPMA. Apart from providing benefits to village communities, this activity is also expected to provide experience and strengthen students' character to become more active individuals and contribute positively to society.
