The Economic Education Study Program at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has successfully held the 2nd National Seminar with the theme "Economic Education Innovation in the Independent Learning Curriculum", Tuesday, 12/12/2023. The National Seminar was conducted to try to provide relations regarding improving efficiency or effectiveness in economic learning education which is carried out consciously and plannedly in developing students' potential.

The objectives of this 2nd National Seminar are 1) Application of Economic Education innovations in the Independent Learning Curriculum, 2) Understanding research issues on innovation and the advantages of the current generation in learning and implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum.

The seminar was opened by the Deputy Dean for Field 1, Mrs Dr Dahlia Novarianing Asri, M.Si., who said that the 2nd National Seminar of the UNIPMA Economic Education Study Program was held as a commitment by presenting the speaker Prof. Dr. Hari Wahyono, M.Pd and MGMP Madiun Regency/City to provide learning experiences and focus on improving skills and character.

The activity continued with remarks from the Head of the UNIPMA Economic Education Study Program, Mr Ramadhan Prasetya Wibawa, M.Pd. He said that the National Seminar on Economic Education is an annual program held by the Study Program as a forum for communication and collaboration between teachers, lecturers and students.

Chairperson of the 2nd National Seminar, Mrs. Novita Erliana Sari, M.Pd reported Prof. Dr. Hari Wahyono, M.Pd is an expert in Economic Education from the State University of Malang. He also added that reports that attended the seminar reached 140 participants consisting of economics students, MGMP teachers and Economic Education Alumni.

The seminar was lively and full of joy, because the material presented by Prof. Dr. Hari Wahyono, M.Pd attracted the audience's attention. It is not surprising that they responded to the material presented.
