In order to develop the competence of Physics teachers at the SMA/SMK/MA equivalent level, a team of Physics Education lecturers at PGRI Madiun University who are members of the community service research group provide assistance to Physics teachers in the Madiun City area.

This activity is a form of seriousness from the UNIPMA Physics Education Study Program in preparing professional Physics teachers to make the nation's life intelligent. This activity was carried out in the Lombok Idjo Madiun Hall Room, Jalan Kalimantan No.36 Kartoharjo, Kartoharjo District, Madiun City on Thursday, September 14 2023 with a total of 20 Physics teachers participating in the Madiun City area.

The Physics teachers include SMAN 4 Madiun, MAN 1 Madiun, MAN 2 Madiun, SMK Scholar Madiun, and SMK Gamaliel Madiun. This activity raised the topic "Analyzing Question Items Through the Use of Software to Strengthen Continuous Professional Development (PKB) Competencies in the Madiun City Region".

With a team of UNIPMA Physics Education Lecturers headed by Mr. Mislan Sasono, S.Pd.Si., M.Pd with members including Farida Huriawati, S.Si., M.Si, Dr.Tantri Mayasari, M.Pd, Dr.Jeffry Handhika, S.Si., M.Pd., M.Si, Purwandari, M.Pd, Erawan Kurniadi, S.Si.M.Pd and Andista Candra Yusro, S.Pd., M.Pd.

This activity is clear evidence of the role of universities, especially as the UNIPMA Physics Education Study Program aims to improve the quality of Physics teachers in the Madiun City area. Mr. Mislan Sasono, S.Pd.Si., M.Pd as the head of this community service gives hope through training in item analysis for high school/vocational/MA/equivalent physics teachers in using software to improve teachers' skills or abilities in assessing items. questions with the hope that teachers will be able to understand the principles of assessment, teachers will be able to compile input matrix data and control the form of questions, dichotomies and polytomies as well as combined questions, teachers can also use the ITEMAN application in reviewing question items so that teacher competence, especially in continuous professional development, increases.
