The Regent of Ponorogo and Deputy Chancellor for Division I UNIPMA Launched the Grand Opening of the Sendang Sentul Tourist Attraction 

The Regent of Ponorogo and Deputy Chancellor for Division I Universitas PGRI Madiun have inaugurated the Sendang Sentul tourist attraction in Ngendut Village, Balong District, Ponorogo Regency, East Java, Sunday 08 October 2023. This activity is the development of the Ormawa PPK Program from the UNIPMA Student Executive Board (BEM) team .

The activity was enlivened by the arts of Reog Ponorogo and electone. Next, Mr. Regent and Ms. Deputy Chancellor for Field I UNIPMA visited and shopped for MSME products on sale at the Sendang Sentul tourist attraction.

Then the grand opening of the Sendang Sentul tourist attraction was officially opened by the Regent of Ponorogo H. Sugiri Sancoko, S.E., M.M. by cutting the tumpeng and beating the drum as a sign of the inauguration of the tourist village.

"Let's protect and continue to develop natural tourist attractions in the village. I want next year Ponorogo to become a culture-based tourist city with the Petahelix concept." Said Kang Sugiri. The aim of opening the Sendang Sentul tourist attraction is as an effort to encourage the local economy. So, the people's economy will become increasingly stable like a rotating windmill.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chancellor for Division I UNIPMA, Dr. Elva Nuraina, S.E., M.Si in her speech also said that this was a direct shade activity from the Ministry of Education and Culture.

"We will oversee the PPK Ormawa team of the Student Executive Board (BEM) to realize the dream of the residents of Ngendut village to make Sendang Sentul a tourist attraction and explore the potential of the village's MSME products." Said Dr. Elva Nuraina, S.E., M.Si.

Dr. Elva Nuraina, S.E., M.Si added through a report from the PPPK Ormawa BEM UNIPMA team, that Ngendut Ponorogo village has great potential to become a tourist village.

This village has charming natural and cultural panoramas, so it can be used as educational tourism for local, regional, national and even world communities. So that back to nature behavior will become a trend in the future, including the existence of the Sendang Sentul tourist attraction.
