Universitas PGRI Madiun Holds Training of Trainers for the RPL Program 

To deal with changes in the world of education, Universitas PGRI Madiun held a training trainer (ToT) for the Type A learning recognition assessor (RPL) program, on Monday 28 August 2023. The event was held at the Amaris Madiun Hotel.

Chancellor of PGRI Madiun University, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd directly opened the training. ToT presents guest speaker Unggul Wasiwitono, ST., M.Eng.Sc., Dr-Eng. RPL program ToT participants are academics and stakeholders at PGRI Madiun University.

The purpose of the RPL Training of Trainer (ToT) program is based on the Ministry of Education and Culture Number 41 of 2021 concerning Recognition of Past Learning (RPL), namely to provide the widest possible opportunity for each individual to pursue formal, non-formal and informal education through lifelong learning facilities and provide the opportunity equivalency of certain qualifications.

Universitas PGRI Madiun organizes this RPL to provide an opportunity for the community to be able to continue their formal education to a higher level until the end is the provision of proof of diploma results. Learning or experience is acknowledged to be derived from other formal education obtained from a tertiary institution, derived from non-formal education, informal and from work experience (Type A).

With RPL, Universitas PGRI Madiun provides opportunities for prospective students to access higher education. This socialization of the RPL program was able to provide an in-depth understanding of the requirements and benefits of the program.

This training will provide socialization and assistance to RPL assessors so that they will gain much-needed knowledge and skills.
