PBSI UNIPMA Holds National Seminar With the Theme "Language and Literacy Learning in the Era of Freedom of Learning" 

PBSI Postgraduate School (S2) and PBSI Study Program (S1) Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a national seminar with the theme "Language and Literacy Learning in the Era of Freedom to Learn" on Tuesday, 15 August 2023. This National Seminar was held online via Zoom and attended by around 285 participants from various levels of teaching staff and students.

The event's speech was given by the Postgraduate Dean Dr. Dwi Setyadi, M.M. He welcomed the implementation of this national seminar. "I am very happy to welcome this national seminar, of course with extraordinary speakers, the participants can apply the knowledge that will be obtained after this seminar is held," said Dr. Dwi Setyadi, M.M.

The main event of this seminar was the presentation of material from four speakers with various backgrounds in the fields of language learning and literacy which was then followed by a question and answer session by the participants.

The first speaker was delivered by Prof. Dr. Imam Suyitno, M.Pd from the Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang (UM). He delivered material entitled "Language and Literacy Learning in the Freedom to Learn Era".

The second speaker was delivered by Dr. Muhlis Fajar Wicaksana, M.Pd from the Bangun Nusantara Veterans University, Sukoharjo. He delivered the material "Strengthening Literacy in Project-Based MKWK Learning Era Merdeka Learning".

The third speaker was delivered by Dr. Wijaya Heru Santosa, M.Pd. from Tamansiswa University, Yogyakarta. He delivered the material "Among Systems in Indonesian Differentiated Learning".

Meanwhile, the last material presentation was delivered by the Head of the PBSI UNIPMA Study Program, Muhammad Binur Huda, S. Pd., M. Pd. He delivered the material "Student Contribution in Language Learning in the Era of Freedom of Learning". Not only filled with very interesting and innovative speakers by the four speakers but there was also a question and answer session that was welcomed and awaited by the participants.

The seminar was then closed with a group photo session conducted by Mr. Dedy Richi Rizaldy, M.Pd, as a screenshot for all national seminar participants.
