Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) conducted an offline introduction to the schooling field (PLP) 1 and microteaching activities on Tuesday, (14/3/2023) offline at the UNIPMA scholar building. This activity is mandatory for 5th semester students. The activity begins with an opening, remarks, delivery of material, discussion and question and answer, and closing.

PLP 1 is a mandatory activity for students which aims to prepare students as professional teachers and advises students to take part in PLP 1 properly and seriously to get the benefits. During the implementation of PLP 1, students help schools maximize existing facilities and infrastructure at school and make observations at school regarding the organizational structure and work procedures at school, rules, and regulations, routine activities carried out, curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities, as well as practice positive habits in school.

The output of PLP 1 is in the form of a description of the organizational structure and governance of the school, a description of school rules and regulations, an identification of ceremonial-formal activities at school, an identification of routine curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, as well as a description of positive habitual practices and habits in school.

This PLP activity will be implemented in several public and private schools starting from the elementary to high school levels around Madiun. It is hoped that students will understand the material well so that they are ready to do PLP (Introduction to schooling).
