UNIPMA Departs 1,999 Community Service Students to a Number of Regions

University of PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) students are preparing to leave for Community Service Program (KKN) in several sub-districts in Madiun and Magetan. Head of LPPM UNIPMA, Dr. Fida Chasanatun, M.Pd. said, “This KKN was attended by 955 students and divided into 66 groups. We hope that students have prepared the best program to help the community at the KKN location."

UNIPMA Chancellor, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. advised that students can adapt to the environment in which they live. He hopes that the KKN students will make a major contribution to society after the pandemic, especially with real ideas to help the community in solving various problems.

There are 5 KKN programs namely, KKN BKKBN, KKN UMKM, KKN Bela Bangsa/Nationalism, KKN Community Service, and KKN Village Projects.

The Chancellor also advised hundreds of students who took part in the KKN to maintain their attitude, especially respecting customs in an area, mingling with the surrounding community, and working together as a group.

"It is important as immigrants to appreciate and respect every custom that is upheld by each region," he said.

Previously, the students participating in the KKN had received a briefing regarding the 5 KKN programs delivered by the committee at the Graha Cendekia UNIPMA building last December. Meanwhile, the departure process for the KKN location took place simultaneously on Thursday (5/1/2023).
