MAN 1 Ngawi collaborated with UNIPMA Lecturers, developing a Digital-Based Independent Curriculum Assessment

This activity began with remarks and directions from the Head of the Ngawi District Office of the Ministry of Religion as well as opening the event. "The current strengthening of the independent curriculum must be supported by all internal components of the school, stakeholders, and all components of society as partners and learning communities," said Drs. Moh. Wahib, M.Pd in his opening remarks at the workshop. In addition, the implementation of the independent curriculum must also be able to explore the potential of students according to their abilities and competencies. The role of madrasas in raising Rahmatan Lil Alamin's generation can be pursued with various innovative strategies.

Innovative learning also needs to be supported by a holistic assessment process following the competencies, and capacities of students, charged with character and oriented towards a sustainable future. Apart from having to be able to develop assessments, teachers are also required to be able to integrate digital aspects as one of the future skills that will be developed. The material for developing a digital-based independent curriculum assessment was discussed interactively by Dr. Wachidatul Linda Yuhanna, M.si. by integrating a lot with contextual experiences that have been carried out by MAN 1 Ngawi teachers. "In general, MAN I Ngawi teachers already have a lot of experience in compiling assessments. What is currently needed is an assessment towards 21st century skills, High order thinking skills (HOTs), and integration with digital media," said Dr. Wachidatul Linda Yuhanna the presenter.

The result of this workshop activity is that teachers can develop assessments according to the needs of the digital-based independent curriculum at the basic level. In the future, further training is needed to improve teacher competence in the use of digital media. "This training will be carried out continuously so that teachers at MAN 1 Ngawi can present innovative learning," said Asep Nahrowi Mustaqin, Head of MAN 1 Ngawi. It is hoped that MAN 1 Ngawi will continue to synergize with UNIPMA as a form of partnership support to improve the quality of independent curriculum implementation.
