Competent Digital, FT UNIPMA Lecturer Holds Digital Marketing Strategy Workshop 

The school digitalization program must be supported and followed up by increasing the competence of teachers and students, especially in the field of mastery of information and communication technology (ICT). The development of entrepreneurial interest in Vocational High School (SMK) students is seen as strategic for preparing a productive and characterful generation in the future.

Apart from working in industry or continuing their studies at the higher education level, SMK graduates are also encouraged to become creative entrepreneurs. To support entrepreneurship development at Madiun Cendekia Vocational School, the community service team at the Faculty of Engineering (FT) Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a Digital Marketing Strategy Workshop for class X students majoring in multimedia. This program aims to increase student competence in utilizing digital technology to increase product promotion and support information technology-based school management for Cendekia Madiun Vocational High School.

Business and marketing are two things that cannot be separated and internet marketing based on digital technology is a marketing method that is widely used today. Digital Marketing is an attempt to promote goods and services using digital media. The Digital Marketing Strategy Workshop for Cendekia Madiun Vocational High School students was held on Thursday (22/12/2022) at the UNIPMA integrated laboratory.

The workshop material on digital marketing was delivered by Mr. Muh Nur Luthfi Azis, S.Kom., M.Kom (Lecturer in Informatics Engineering Study Program, FT-UNIPMA) discussing sales optimization and how to read current digital business opportunities. The material continued on Branding delivered by Mr. Dimas Setiawan S.Kom., M.Kom. (Lecturer in Information Systems Study Program FT-UNIPMA).

For business beginners, they have to learn many things, including statistical data that can be used as an opportunity to start a business so that the business that is built is according to market needs that are most interested in and needed by today's society, and branding is the main factor that becomes a foothold in the marketing digital.
